About this template
Template:Modality is the summary box at the top of every modality page. It also adds the page to Category:Modalities.
You don't usually need to add it yourself: pages created with the box on Compass:Adding a modality start with it already in place (from Template:Modality/Preload).

The date the description was first approved (e.g. 11 October 2026). Set by an approver. |

When the page is next due for review. Set by an approver. |
Rows with nothing in them are hidden. The status field describes the consultation stage only: which version readers see is decided by an approver approving it.
